Former AMR Corporation CEO and Chairman, Robert Crandall is leading Pogo Jet into the public arena.

Pogo Jet, Inc. intends to be a leading provider of private on-demand jet charter service, initially in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Ohio Valley and Carolinas.

Pogo's openIPO statement:  Pogo's experienced executive team is led by Robert Crandall, who served as the President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of AMR Corporation, the parent company of American Airlines, from 1985 to 1998. Pogo plans to use a fleet of newly manufactured Eclipse 500 aircraft for its initial operations. The Eclipse 500 is the first aircraft that has been certified by the Federal Aviation Administration within a new generation of private jet aircraft known as Very Light Jets.
