$10 Million bid for all assets April 4th - AAI Acquisitions $10 million bid for the assets of bankrupt VLJ manufacturer Adam Aircraft was the sole bid. The U.S Bankruptcy Cout for the District of Colorado announced the bid accepted by the trustees of the Adam Aircraft. Pending a final hearing scheduled for April 9th the sale would include all assets of the Englewood, Colorado aircraft manufacturer including patents, trademarks, property leases, inventory, unfinished aircraft, tolling, equipment, software and contracts. According to the sale notice Dmitry Shokhin is listed as AAI's vice president although it is widely rumored that former Adam Aircraft employees and their backers are behings the acquisition company. The status of the A700 VLJ under development by Adam Aircraft at the time of the bankruptcy is unknown. The A700 was plagued by design and performance issues causing many early orders to be canceled due to delays.
