Englewood, CO – AAI Acquisition, Inc. (AAIA) has named longtime aircraft manufacturing executive Dan Culleton to the position of vice president of Manufacturing.

Culleton brings to his new position more than 31 years of aerospace and aircraft manufacturing experience. Most recently, he was with Northrop Grumman.
AAIA is a private aircraft design and manufacturing company based at the Centennial Airport in Englewood, Colorado. AAIA is currently developing and flight testing its initial product, the world's first all-composite Very Light Jet (VLJ), the A700.
Designed for the business aircraft and emerging air taxi markets, the A700 is a twin-engine jet with a maximum cruising speed of more than 340 knots. It will seat seven, including the pilot, and cruise at altitudes up to FL410. Certification and first delivery of the A700 is scheduled for 2010.
AAIA employs approximately 200 people at its Englewood, Colorado headquarters where the A700 will be built. The company is owned by Industrial Investors Group (IIG) and Kaskol, leading investment companies headquartered in Russia. IIG and Kaskol manage more than $3 billion in assets worldwide.
