Hawker Beechcraft and Eclipse Owners Group Enter Into Letter of Intent

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA (April 7, 2009) — David Green, Chairman of the Steering Committee for the Eclipse Owners Group (EOG) announced today that the EOG has signed a nonbinding Letter of Intent with Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC).  The parties will now begin negotiations for a definitive binding agreement under which HBC would provide maintenance upgrades and other aircraft services to EOG members, consisting of individual Eclipse 500 owners.

Air Taxi Association Launches with Backing of Major Air Taxi Providers

Organization to Focus on Unifying Industry, Increasing Business Profitability, and Bolstering Demand for Personal Air Travel at Business Airline Prices

ATLANTA, June 21, 2007 – The Air Taxi Association (ATXA) today formally announced its launch with the backing of major next-generation air taxi providers in the United States alongside initial air taxi providers in Europe.  The organization will unite the air taxi industry and provide services to increase demand for personal air travel at business airline prices.
Principal air taxi companies on the Air Taxi Association’s policy-setting board include DayJet, Earthjet, ImagineAir, JetBird, JumpJet, Linear Air, TaxiJet Spain, and SATSair, among other leading air taxi providers.  Dr. Bruce Holmes, DayJet Director of Aeronautical Research, will serve as ATXA Chairman of the Board.  Described as a father of the air taxi industry, Holmes served as a research pioneer at NASA for over 30 years where he led strategic development for the Langley Research Center with investments of $700 million and over 4,000 people.

First Phenom 100 Jet To Begin Final Assembly

Fuselage and wing completed; engines ready to be mounted

São José dos Campos, March 29, 2007 - Embraer reports that the first Phenom 100 fuselage and wing have been completed at the Company’s Botucatu plant, in outstate São Paulo. The aircraft is now at the São José dos Campos facility for wing-fuselage mating and final assembly. The two PW617 Pratt & Whitney Canada engines, to be installed in April, have
also been received by Embraer.
