Annual Convention Sells Out for the First Time In NBAA History
As reported on the NBAA website, the floor for this years convention has been completely sold out for the first time in convention history. With five weeks to go until the 59th annual meeting and convention NBAA staff expect over 1,100 exhibitors with 5,216 10' by 10' booth spaces sold.
With the recent FAA certification of Cessna's VLJ Mustang as well as the earlier announcement of Eclipse Aviation's Eclipse 500
type certification, the Very Light Jet industry is expected to make quite a showing. The annual meeting and convention runs from October 17th through the 19th in Orlando Florida.
As is always the case, this years NBAA convention is expected to be the front line for news and information from all areas of the aviation community but the VLJ industry is expected to provide its own excitement. Along with over 100 aircraft expected to take part in the static display at the Orlando Executive Airport, the convention floor at the Orange County Convention Center is expected to showcase 11 aircraft and four helicopters. Another first for the annual convention.
