First Commercial Fleet Sale in North America of Diamond DA42 Twin Star

OSHKOSH, WI., July 25, 2006 - Point2Point Airways and Diamond Aircraft today announced a major fleet order of up to 100 aircraft. The order represents Diamond Aircraft's first North American sale of the DA42 Twin Star and D-JET to a U.S. commercial air carrier.

Point2Point Airways is the nation's first personal airline, providing on-demand, personal air transportation. Point2Point flies business travelers on their schedule and itinerary for the price of a conventional airline business class ticket. Diamond Aircraft is a leading manufacturer of next generation general aviation and business aircraft. The announcement was made at the 2006 EAA AirVenture Convention in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, one of the world's largest and most prestigious air shows.
Point2Point will take delivery of the first 10 DA42 Twin Stars beginning in August 2006 with additional aircraft arriving through the end of 2008. In addition, it was announced that Point2Point holds delivery options for the D-JET aircraft, Diamond's new personal light jet (PLJ), which will enjoy its EAA AirVenture fly-in debut tomorrow.

Diamond and Point2Point also announced a strategic relationship in which they will collaborate on custom aircraft features and training protocols in order to tailor the aircraft to the personal air transportation mission, enhance passenger comfort and maximize operational efficiencies.
The DA42 Twin Star has capacity for a pilot and up to three passengers, with a cruise speed of 200 mph and a range of 1,300 statute miles. Its revolutionary TAE Centurion 1.7 turbo-diesel engines provide twin engine reliability and safety with unprecedented fuel economy and low operating costs. The DA42 Twin Star has been highly popular worldwide since its rollout in 2002. Diamond Aircraft has sold the aircraft to private owners and commercial fleet operators throughout Europe and Asia.
The D-JET, which is making its public debut at the 2006 EAA AirVenture, has the capacity for a pilot and up to four passengers, with a cruise speed of 362 mph and a range of 1,553 statute miles at an altitude of up to 25,000 feet.
