Grob Aerospace’s first spn test aircraft (D-CSPN) flew again on Friday, 23 February 2007 at 16:15 pm. It departed from the manufacturer’s airport facility in Tussenhausen-Mattsies, Germany, marking a return to the flight certification program.

Construction begins on first West Side facility
ALBUQUERQUE, NM — February 20, 2007 — Eclipse Aviation, manufacturer of the world’s first very light jet (VLJ), announced today that it is building a new facility on the West Side of Albuquerque at the Double Eagle II Airport (KAEG). When in full operation, the company plans to employ approximately 100 people at the new facility in a variety of roles including training, flight support and administrative support. While some of this staffing will come from existing employees, well over half will be new hires.

HondaJet to be produced at new plant for delivery to customers in 2010
GREENSBORO, N.C. 02/09/2007 - Honda Aircraft Company, Inc., today announced plans to establish its world headquarters in Greensboro, North Carolina, with construction of a new 215,000 square foot headquarters facility and hangar at Piedmont Triad International (PTI) airport. The company also confirmed plans to manufacture its advanced light jet, HondaJet, at a new plant to be constructed adjacent to its new headquarters. Further details about the production facility, including the size, scope of operations and construction timetable, will be announced at a later date. Honda plans to begin delivery of HondaJet to customers in 2010.

02/07/07 - The German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accidents Investigation (BFU) has provided its first feedback to Grob Aerospace from its investigation into the accident involving spn test aircraft No 2 (D-CGSP). A team of Grob Aerospace engineers has been working closely with the BFU since the accident which happened during a demonstration flight on November 29, 2006.
