| Embraer Showcases Full Scale Phenom 300 Mock-Up At The New York Stock Exchange |

Embraer rings opening bell São José dos Campos, September 4, 2006 – Embraer will display the full scale Phenom 300 mock-up in front of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) building on September 5, marking the first time one of the Phenom mock-ups is publicly displayed in New York City. Embraer officers will ring the NYSE opening bell for the day’s trading session and hold meetings with the press and investors on Embraer’s Executive Jets business.
Maurício Botelho, Chairman, President and CEO of Embraer, and Luís Carlos Affonso, Executive Vice-President, Executive Jets, will host a press conference at 10:00 a.m. where Luís Carlos Affonso will present Embraer’s Executive Jets portfolio and address the utilization of the Phenom jets in air taxi operation and other business models. A presentation will also be made to investors and analysts at noon. In May 2005, Embraer announced the expansion of its executive jets offering, which began with the Legacy 600 in 2001, now totaling 80 deliveries in 18 countries and representing a 13.5% market share of the super midsize category. The Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 jets were introduced targeting the very light and light jet segments. Embraer unveiled the Phenom mock-ups at the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) convention, held in Orlando, Florida, in November 2005, where they will be exhibited again in this year’s edition of the event.
In October of this year, at the NBAA convention, Embraer will unveil its plans for the Executive Jets Customer Support, which will comprise a range of integrated service and training solutions as well as the expansion of its global service center network.
