Embraer Participates In EBACE 2007 In Geneva Print E-mail

Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 mock-ups, and Legacy 600 business jet showcased

São José dos Campos, May 18, 2007 – Embraer displays the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 jets full-scale mock-ups in Geneva, Switzerland, at the seventh European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) to be held May 22-24 at the Geneva Palexpo exhibition center. Embraer will also be showing a brand new Legacy 600 business jet, which will be based in Europe and will be used as a company demonstrator aircraft.  The Legacy 600 will be on the static display while the Phenom mock-ups will be exhibited at the Embraer booth (# 7510, hall 7). The Legacy 600 is particularly suited for the European market and is the largest business jet certified to operate at the London City and the Cannes Mandelieu airports.

Embraer will hold a press conference on Monday 21, in hall 7 (room # 2). This media briefing will start at 9:00 a.m. and will be hosted by Luis Carlos Affonso, Embraer Executive Vice President, Executive Jets. The conference will focus on the company’s most recent achievements in product programs and customer support solutions.  EBACE will mark the start of the 2007 European Phenom Tour. The Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 mock-ups will proceed to Munich (Germany), Dublin (Ireland), Milan (Italy),  Paris (France), and Aachen (Germany). More information is available at www.EmbraerExecutiveJets.com

The Legacy 600
The aircraft on display in EBACE features the latest technologies available for the Legacy 600. It is ideally designed for European
operations and is the only airplane of the super mid-size category with three distinct cabin zones. The jet has been widely accepted in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with 43 of them now flying in these regions. In March, Prague-based operator ABS Jets took delivery of the 100th Legacy.

The Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 Jets
The first Phenom 100 is currently in the final assembly stage at Embraer’s São José dos Campos plant, in Brazil, where the second Phenom 100 is also being manufactured.  Regular production tooling is being used in the assembly of both jets. The full scale mockup to be on display in Geneva incorporates the latest features from the BMW Group DesignworksUSA, which is responsible for designing the Phenom 100 and Phenom 300 interiors. This mock-up is the closest to the real aircraft ever to be displayed at an air show.  The first flight of the Phenom 100 is on scheduled for mid-2007.  The first metal cut for the Phenom 300 took place last month. The maiden flight is expected to take place in mid-2008, with deliveries following one year later, in mid-2009.
