Attendees will experience a full-scale executive jet mock-up and watch champion jumper Rodrigo Pessoa compete in Embraer colors

São José dos Campos, March 8, 2007 - Embraer is exhibiting a full-scale mock-up of its Phenom 300 executive jet for two consecutive weeks, during the 2007 Winter Equestrian Festival. March 7-11 and March 14-18, at the Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club, in Wellington, Fla.. In these two events, visitors will experience the premium comfort and luxury of Embraer’s jet and have opportunity to watch Rodrigo Pessoa, Brazil’s world champion show jumper, competing in Embraer colors.

Based on input from pilots, owners, operators and business executives, the Phenom 300 will deliver superior comfort, outstanding performance and low operating costs. It is part of Embraer’s product line for the executive aviation market, which also includes the very light Phenom 100 jet, the super mid-size Legacy 600 and the ultra-large Lineage 1000 in its portfolio. The Phenom 300 is expected to enter service in mid-2009.

The equestrian show is one of the first stops on Embraer’s Phenom Tour in North America. Other destinations include Sun ‘n Fun Fly-In (Lakeland, Fla.), Aero Expo (Toluca, Mexico), and EAA AirVenture (Oshkosh, Wis.), a number of executive airports and Fixed Base Operations (FBO), and other sports events. Rodrigo Pessoa is one of the top riders in the world of equestrian show jumping and competes in approximately 40 equestrian shows, annually. He is a three-time World Cup Champion (1998-2000) and 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist.

The annual Winter Equestrian Festival attracts international Olympic equestrian athletes. The event is a proving ground for the U.S. Equestrian Team in show jumping and dressage and the site of qualifying events and selection trials for such international events as the World Cup Final, Samsung Nations Cup Final, and Summer Olympic Games.
