| Citation Mustang Program Surpasses 1000 Flight Hours |

Geneva, Switzerland, May 3, 2006 – More than 1,000 total flight hours and more than 600 flights have been accumulated by the three Citation Mustangs flying in Cessna Aircraft Company’s certification program. Cessna is a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company.
The Mustang is on schedule for its anticipated European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and U.S. Federal Aviation Association (FAA) certification in the fourth quarter of 2006. The Mustang is on track for single pilot type rating certification.
With more than 240 orders, the Mustang is sold out into the third quarter of 2009. Currently about 60 percent of Mustang orders are based outside of the United States, with a significant number of these deliveries going to Europe, South America and Australia. Mustangs three through 10 are on the production line in Independence, Kan. Serial number four will be the first Mustang business jet to be fully assembled outside of Wichita. The Citation Mustang program was announced in September 2002. The six-seat business jet will be certified as a FAR Part 23 aircraft, with a cruise speed of 340 KTAS and maximum operating altitude of 41,000 feet.
