First Time At The Event Says European Market Is Tremendous Growth Opportunity Duluth, Minn. (6/15/2007) - Cirrus Design Corporation announced today it will be exhibiting its new Generation Three airplanes in the D1 area at the International Paris Air Show June 18-24. This marks the first time that CIRRUS has shown its planes at the world's leading air and space show. On display from Cirrus France will be the company's top-of-the-line Generation Three SR22-GTS – the fully equipped version of the world's best selling fixed wing airplane for five years running. Also on the tarmac will be its Generation Three SR22-G3 Turbo – featuring the unique turbo-normalizing technology from Tornado Alley Turbo. In addition, the company will display its lower-priced SR20-G2, an aircraft that's versatile, rugged, and technologically advanced, yet simple to fly and affordable to maintain. "Over the past year, we have experienced incredible growth in international sales," said CIRRUS Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, John M. Bingham. "The European market accounts for a significant percentage of our total aircraft sales. The business is increasing year upon year," Bingham concluded. Alan Klapmeier, CIRRUS Chairman and CEO added, "The Paris Air Show is the perfect venue for us to show our planes to a market that's hungry for our unique brand of aircraft. Europeans want planes with peerless performance, state-of-the-art safety features like our Cirrus Airframe Parachute System™, innovative design, and breakthrough styling. With CIRRUS, they can have it all." One aircraft that CIRRUS will be bringing to the next Paris Air Show is "the-jet" – CIRRUS' highly anticipated personal jet aircraft that's currently underdevelopment. The company will give the world its first look at "the-jet" on June 28, 2007 at its Duluth, Minnesota, USA, headquarters. |
