Grob Aerospace is establishing a US entity to provide a complete, world-class ownership experience to North-American customers of its all-new composite light business jet, the spn, the company announced today, May 21st. The move reflects the fact that approximately half the spn customer base to date, as well as three-quarters of the world’s business aircraft fleet, is US-based. |

Grob Aerospace has appointed Northern Executive Aviation (NEA) in the UK as a factory-authorized service partner for its spn light jet to support customers in Europe. Based at the UK’s third largest airport in Manchester, EASA 145 certificated NEA boasts 40 years’ experience supporting business aviation customers on a wide range of aircraft and has held Bombardier Authorized Service Centre status for 10 years. |

Grob Aerospace has selected Geven, based in Naples, Italy, as the manufacturer of their seats for the Executive layout of its spn light jet. These new seats were designed by Porsche Design Studio for Grob Aerospace as part of their mandate for entire spn interior. |

The fuselage has gained an additional 14 inches (36 cm) in length, resulting in another 15 cubic feet of space (0.42 cubic meters). |

First flight at mid-year São José dos Campos, May 21, 2007 – Final assembly of the first Phenom 100 executive jet progresses on schedule for first flight at mid-year. Wing and fuselage of the second aircraft were assembled at the Botucatu plant and have arrived at Embraer’s main facilities in São José dos Campos to begin final assembly. Components of the third Phenom 100 are being pre-assembled in Botucatu. |
