VLJ manufacturer Spectrum Aeronautical has launched an online mission simulator that compares various VLJ mission factors including range, costs, and passengers. Comparison can be made between Spectrums Independence VLJ and various Turboprops, Light Jets and Light-Middle Business Jets. Aircraft available for comparison include the Cessna Mustang, Embraer Phenom 100, Adam Aircraft A700 and the Eclipse 500 VLJ's. Additional aircraft include the Embraer Phenom 300, Cessna CJ1+, Grob SPn and the Hawker 400 XP business Jets. Spectrum's Mission Simulator is based on currently available aicraft data and provides Mission, Range, Cabin and City Pair comparisons for various aircraft as compared to Spectrum's Independence VLJ. Along with the wide range of available data the simulator also provides a graphical representation of range rings and mission specific start and end points via integration with Google Maps. Estimated fuel costing allows for adjustments to price per gallon and conversions to km, kb and Euros. Spectrum's Mission Simulator can be found on their website at www.spectrum.aero or directly at www.spectrummission.com.
