So you've seen the Eclipse 500, checked the performance specs and features but you're just not crazy about the standard orange color scheme, try building your own Eclipse 500 or Eclipse 500 LX. 

Featured on the Eclipse Aviation web site, the Eclipse Configurator allows you to design your own Eclipse 500.  Color, entertainment options, and a list of optional equipment and features are all available.

Both the standard and the LX edition of the Eclipse 500 are available for customization via the Eclipse Configurator.

The configurator steps you through standard available striping options, color schemes and interior options providing price and visual summaries of the options selected throughout the process.

Optional equipment such as a Part 135 package, TAWS, Stormscope, and SkyWatch or also available.

Much like the features available from the major auto manufacturers, once finished with the Eclipse Configurator you have the option to save your summary as a PDF, send to a Eclipse Sales or save the build for future review.

According to Eclipse Aviation Sales the next available delivery date for an Eclipse 500 is December 2008.  With the Eclipse Configurator you can design and configure your Eclipse 500 or Eclipse 500 LX online and help to speed up the ordering process.  While using the configurator may not get your order moved up in line, it will certainly help to streamline the ordering process from start to finish.
